When the weather gets warmer, I immediately look to tan! I’m not one to shy away from the sun. I love a nice golden hue on my skin. This outfit is my typical sunbathing uniform.
Here, I’m wearing my swimsuit as a top. I love the patches/cartoon element! If you haven’t noticed, I love a good graphic/cartoon print. And the ruffle style of this suit makes it pass as a crop top.
These high waist shorts cost me only $15. ◊ Tip: As you may know it’s best to buy clothing off-season. These are now $30! Smh. However, I like the gold accent buttons. I always thought I wasn’t a fan of vertical buttons, but looking at my closet, I’ve changed my mind.
My sandals are my summer go-to’s. You would have seen them in multiple posts now. Alternatively, I would have liked to wear my “Saveno” slides, but that’s not exactly ideal to walk around Prospect Park.
My earring cuff and faux septum ring are from Shop Miss A – an online beauty supply store and everything costs only $1! My sunglasses were only $5 in store. I know I can’t be alone when I say not all sunglasses suit me! I HAVE to try on sunglasses in person or risk looking like a bug. It’s so frustrating. These round lenses give off a retro feel. And I love pairing them with Yani and this particular hairstyle! They just make the look more funky. Lastly, my transparent beach bag is the pop of color I need in all my outfits.
This outfit is perfect for tanning at the beach or the park, or even at a water park. Can’t wait to wear a swimsuit all summer!
Until next time!
