How damn COOL and ROCK is this jacket? It’s got me feeling like a biker chick from the 90s! I had to play up the look to exude that style…without the motorcycle lol. And yup! This baby is another thrift store find! As a style blogger, it’s important to mix and match what you already own in your wardrobe (obviously to avoid wasting money to create new looks), BUT adding a new piece to the wardrobe ALSO never hurts! Something as simple as a new jacket/outerwear can really breathe new life into old pieces! I love that this one is tie-dye and reminds me of my childhood and Spice Girls.
PLUS is it just me or do you also never own enough winter items in your closet? I never have enough sweaters, sweatshirts or coats, so layering is pretty important when you have to work with a spring & summer arsenal. Maybe I should do a post on how I layer for fall and winter weather! Let me know if you’d be interested below!
Everything else I’m wearing is pretty old on my shelf. This bodysuit is from a random NYC clothing store, purchased over 4 years ago. My disco jeans you’ll recognize from my last post. And these shoes? My favorite combat booties also featured before. I finish the look with an Australian-brand silver choker (a going away gift from a law school friend) and an earring cuff just because it’s more badass than a regular stud and makes the look edgier.
What are you shopping for this fall? Coats, boots, jeans, winter accessories? Let me know below!
