With NYC’s weather being a bit more bipolar than usual, it’s tempting to match days of rain and gloom with darker colors. Don’t let the weather stop you from matching the season! Floral print screams Spring! So I may not be wearing bright colors, but I’ve incorporated pops of floral print in today’s outfit! Even my nails are floral print lol!

This look was styled around my new purse. Not only do I love the print, but I also love the contrasting red and blue colors. It wasn’t until I brought it home that I remembered I had these floral print shoes in my collection! They matched too perfectly to pass up the combo. I’ve owned these shoes for years! Back when I didn’t even know how to walk in heels. These were a starter pair. The high ankle strap makes them so unique.

My shirt is the first purchase I made on my first day of law school at Sydney Law School, Sydney University. I’m a fan of college/school shirts. And if you didn’t know I have aspirations in law, now you do! I only finished a year there before I decided to come home and pursue my law degree in the U.S. That’s another story. But if you’re interested in learning about my “growing” experience, I can make that happen! 😉 FYI: I did not have any family or “friends”  in Sydney when I decided to move.

My pants are a hand-me-down. My mother bought these only two years ago and now they’re mine. Lol not the oldest hand-me-down. It’s hard to tell in pictures, but they’re actually a satin material, making them easy to dress up or dress down like this outfit.
