I’m still loving 70s fashion!

I styled this outfit around my skirt, another product of the current  “70s fashion” trend. Check out my post on How to Wear: 70s Trend Flared Pants! These skirts are popping up at every fashion retailer! As it is suede material, I did pay more for it than I usually would on a clothing item; I just had to have it! And since it’s a thicker material, I can wear it in spring and fall! I just wanted show YOU, dear reader, a way to wear a suede skirt/skirt of this style with something other than the typical lace-up top!

My graphic crop top is a bit sexy because it is paired with a bra. ◊ Tip: Switch out the bra for a less-exposing bralet or another crop top, and you have yourself a “sporty chic” shirt. I love that this top is see-through and more importantly, stretchy! Its rare to find stretchy mesh! And the elastic waist band repeating “Chill” adds a nice, cool touch.

Check out my last “sporty chic” look in How To Wear Monochrome: Shades of Blue!

I wear a fedora to dress up the look. ◊ Tip: A fedora always adds some extra edge and works well with pixie wigs! Want more proof? Click to see another pixie wig & fedora combo in Spring Sweater Dress! As I stated in that post, ◊ Tip: wearing a fedora/hat is a great way to style a more daring/bold-colored wig! The snow white hair of my wig accents the white “Chill” of my top’s elastic band.

Lastly, my boots also remind me of the 60s/70s – the round shape, the all-white color, and the thick heel. It’s very reminiscent of mod fashion.

This outfit is classically black & white in palette, but edgy in style. I felt punk rock and sassy, the perfect blend.

Update: Over the next couple of days, I will be posting more frequently! My birthday is this Friday the 13th! And I have outfits & more to show! 😉
