You hate ’cause I’m a rockstar, a rockstar. A pretty little problem, uh huh – Prima J.

If you know the song I’m singing, not only are YOU my people, but you’re just as embarrassed to know it as I am! Lol. Whenever I feel pretty punk rock, that song plays in my head as the soundtrack to my life. Lmao please look up Prima J’s “Rockstar” to see how childish I am.

What soundtrack plays when you feel like a badass?

So actually, today’s outfit isn’t exactly what I planned in my head. I was aiming for tomboy and ended up with punk rock yet again. We all have those moments where we plan an outfit, and have to switch out and improvise because we’re bloated or the weather or something is in the laundry. I originally wanted to wear jeans with this look, but seeing that New York’s weather is still unbearably hot while I take these photos, I had to reconsider. Maybe I’ll get around to doing that at another point, but for now, shorts are more practical.

I’m also noticing that I’m starting to bring out more of my thrifted items in my closet.

And since I’ve been doing a lot more thrifting lately, I’m considering making thrift hauls & tips videos! Let me know if you’re interested in that below!

My abstract top is another example – from H&M but bought for the low low at a Goodwill! I’ve paired this with distressed shorts for a more grunge appeal. My boots are my go-to heels in fall and winter. Perfect height and super comfortable! And if you didn’t realize, I have no issue with mixing seasonal items – i.e. summer shorts and fall boots. I personally like the contrast, but I understand if it’s not your cup of tea. I didn’t get the appeal at first either, but now I definitely do! ◊ TipRules are meant to be broken! – says the two-time 1L law student. Lol. Don’t mind that! I just feel that mixing and matching seasonal items creates a unique look lol. Not all items in your closet should be limited to a certain season! Try it out and see how you feel! Get more use out of your closet!

And finally, accessories! My 2 years old wig is making an appearance on the blog. Just as proof of how important pixie wigs are. They last forever and style well with hats! Check out my favorite one! And my cool sunglasses are again from the 99 cent store! I’m addicted to glasses and sunglasses now. I may need to do a collection video/blog post! These lenses are cut into a cool rectangular shape within a cat eye frame. Really unique and different.

As always, if there’s any type of post/Youtube video you’d really like to see from me, let me know below! I’m about to buy my first DSLR, and I’m excited to step my game up!

Until next time!

You hate me ’cause I’m everything that you ever wanted to be. And I don’t mind ’cause I love it when you’re looking at me!
